You need to understand how to properly package your device, whether it's a cell phone, a computer, or a laptop. There's a lot of room for error when it comes to shipping and electronic devices so it's essential to do this correctly the first time.
Here is a video from FedEx giving you some great guides. These same rules could be applied to any device. If you are shipping a very expensive device, I would highly recommend getting insurance upon shipping just in case there is a risk of loss and damages by the shipping provider.
Note: Loss or damaged devices are handled by the shipping provider only, not the end receiver of the package.
Please be sure you also write down any contact information and issues for the device being shipped and include it inside the box. This will help any Shipping service lost/found if issues arise.
